2. Vocês vão pro Canadá, mas lá não é frio pra diabo???

Sim, é frio meeeesmo. Toronto chega a fazer -25C no inverno mas também pode fazer 40C no verão...

Mas se vocês leram o post anterior vocês já sabem que não é pra lá que vamos.

Vancouver é na verdade considerada uma das cidades de clima mais ameno no Canadá. Isso significa que as temperaturas não são extremas assim no inverno e nem no verão. Veja o gráfico que compara as temperaturas médias de Curitiba e Vancouver mês a mês:

O que acontece é que em Vancouver chove bastante, tanto que a cidade é apelidada por alguns de "Raincouver". Porém, pra quem mora em Curitiba... Veja o gráfico comparando a média de precipitação das duas cidades:

A maior diferença é que em Curitiba chove muito no verão e em Vancouver no inverno... O que vocês acham melhor? Eu como adoro chuva, fico feliz nas duas cidades!

2. You are going to Canada, but isn't it freaking cold there???

Yes, it reeeeaaally is cold. Toronto sometimes reaches -25C in the winter but it might also reach 40C in the summer...

But if you have read the previous post you already know that is not where we're going.

Vancouver is considered to be one of the cities with the mildest temperatures in Canada. This means that the temperatures are not that extreme neither in the summer nor winter. Look at the first picture above comparing the average temperatures in Curitiba and Vancouver month to month.

What happens is that in Vancouver it rains a lot, so much that the city is sometimes called "Raincouver". However, for someone who lives in Curitiba... Look at the second picture above which compares the average precipitation in both cities.

The biggest difference is that in Curitiba the most rainy season is the summer whereas in vancouver it is the winter... What do you think is better? Since I love rain, I am happy in both places!
